Days 1-5 of My Slimming Down 11 Day Program

I started this cleansing process on Saturday, January 6. On day 1, I start the pre- cleansing process to improve my energy level, which involves a nutritious shake as a meal replacement. I find them filling and satisfing.

Reading other literature regarding cleansing, I decide to supplement with a green salad involving radishes, cucumbers. This is okay for me and I stick with the program. Also, I decide to divide my one light meal for the day into two meals, so that I can eat with the family.

On day 3, I start the cleansing process which involves a drink of herbal teas and minerals. It tastes fine to me. I supplement with green salad, hard boiled eggs and walnuts as advised in this "fat-burning" program.

(I had received information about this program from a long time friend of mine who is also my daughter's godmother.) She is Sharon, viewed wearing pink, at the top of this page in the left hand corner.

This friend I consider to be a reliable source of information and smart as she is also a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience and who had recently received her master degree in nursing. When I saw her for the first time in 6 months, she looked great. She had released 50 lbs and her "before" and after photos were remarkable.

On day 4, I receive a comment from a friend of mine that I look thinner.

This is day 5, I step on the scale and see that I have released 5 lbs, and have been sleeping better.
